For Real Simple magazine, in fact for all of Time Inc., this was the first time a panel was created exclusively for editorial use — to help inspire, refresh, and act as a reality check. While it was initially designed to inform editors, the value soon became apparent to other departments — such as ad sales, marketing and PR – who all wanted access to the panel members as well.
